David Kidd - Artist, Muralist, Restorer

Mr. Kidd is a native of the United States. He has a studio in Baltimore, Maryland, and works in Europe and the United Kingdom, as well as the U.S. Recently he spent 18 months working and teaching in Norway.

Mr. Kidd has always had a passion for art, historic architecture and their preservation. Upon his graduation from college, he began pursuing this avocation by buying and restoring 19th century houses and studying art and architectural history while also working as a medical researcher at John Hopkins University. Eventurally, this led to a full time career in art, restoration, and decorative painting. He particularly enjoys classical subjects that blend nature and figurative art with historic architecture.
